Airbus and Boeing’s delivery rate improved 3.1% in 2017, with 1,481 units being distributed; 200-unit delivery mark broken in December
Airbus and Boeing delivered 210 units between them in the last month of 2017, the first time in recent history that both companies have passed the 200-aircraft mark. For a third consecutive month, December saw Airbus outperform its US rival for deliveries, distributing a whopping 44 more units.

After delivering 77 units in the month of September, the North American manufacturer has extended its lead over Airbus by 28 units. September has also witnessed the European manufacturer deliver more A320 units than A321s, a reverse from August. Overall both manufacturers delivered a total of 126 aircraft in September.
