KICK-OFF RECEPTION AT SAN SALVADOR’S MARTE
AEROPUERTO INTERNACIONAL MONSEÑOR OSCAR ARNULFO ROMERO
Following
Sunday
morning’s volcano tour
and the Routes Americas
Strategy Summit that took
place throughout the
afternoon, delegates were
then invited to a welcome
reception in San
Salvador’s modern art
museum, MARTE. Just a
few steps away from the
conference venue, MARTE
– which showcases the
best of the country’s
modern art – provided a
stunning backdrop to the
event hosted by El
Salvador’s Ministry of
Tourism. The evening’s
entertainment, which
included live music,
dancers and a selection
of local food, culminated
in a spectacular
fireworks display.
Caribbean Tourism
Association’s Fernando Abreu,
Deputy Director of Marketing,
and Vernice Walkine,
President and CEO of Nassau
Airport Development Company,
enjoyed the evening’s
entertainment.
Boston Logan International
Airport’s Yil Surehan, Director
Airline Route Development,
caught up with Vancouver
Airport Authority’s John
Korenic, Director Aviation
Marketing, and Jason Tse,
Manager Market Research
and Air Service Development.
anna.aero’s Jon Lassetter
entertained Dallas/Fort Worth
Airport’s Sarah Douglas, Manager
Marketing Communications, over a
glass of wine.
UBM Live’s Group
Director Transport
and Technology,
Adrian Newton,
welcomed the
delegates to the
evening reception
at the MARTE
Museum in San
Salvador.
All smiles: Peggy Croes from
Curacao Airport, Chris Minner
from Tampa Airport and San
Jose CR Airport’s Lisette
Acosta Alvarez and Maria
Amalia Revelo.
Showcasing their
brand new Salvadorian
ties were OAG
Aviation’s Mark Mattio
and Simon Howard.
